Even though starting a business is a big risk, especially during this pandemic, a couple from Freeland hopes to corner the market with a sweet treat that’s unique in Whidbey. The shop just reopens, and it’s perfect for summer. This shop can be found in the old liquor store just next door to the Island herb in Freeland, the Beary Scoop. This shop offers a compelling combination of frozen yogurt and bubble tea. I’m so excited about tasting it. I’m glad that this is officially back in business.

Mutiny Bay in Freeland, WA

The Mutiny Bay in Freeland, WA, is a superb bay located in Washington state. It’s on the Island County near the southern end of the Whidbey Island, the northwest of the Useless bay, and adjoining Admiralty Inlet. Mutiny Bay is the location of the Mutiny Bay Distillery that produces craft whiskey and liqueurs out of premium local ingredients. It’s one of my favorite distilleries. It’s also the producer of the first aged whiskey on Whidbey Island. Mutiny Bay is also the home of Mutiny Beach, where you can enjoy the Mutiny Boat Ramp. Mutiny Bay in Freeland, WA, is such a great place, and it would be nice to relax at the bay from time to time.
